Adding conventional Polysorbate80 and NOF ultra-pure Polysorbate80(HX)TM to a cell-culture system and examined cell toxicity, although both samples contained the same surfactant with the same molecular architecture, NOF ultra-pure Polysorbate80(HX)TM showed remarkable low cell toxicity than conventional grade.
Effect of concentration of Polysorbate 80 on cell toxicity using SIRC Cell. The cells were treated with each Polysorbate 80 for 24 hrs. The viable cells are determined by Neutral Red Uptake method.
